Bed and Breakfast on Skye
We are open all year round. Welcome to our friendly, homely and cheap bed and breakfast accommodation on the Isle of Skye. We are situated on the main road about two thirds of the way between the Skye Bridge and Broadford. It is easily accessible from Kyle of Lochalsh, Kyleakin, and also via Portree and Broadford.
We cater for travellers on a budget, and therefore, if you wish to have it as cheap as possible we have a room-only option. We also offer the use of the kitchen at a small extra charge. Therefore we are a kind of bunkhouse, hostel and B&B all rolled into one, and all at affordable prices! Packed lunches and a laundry service are available - of particular value if you don't have a car.
We offer a double bedroom which can also be used as a family room (using a mattress on the floor for the third person) and a single room, which can sleep a second person on a mattress on the foor. There is a shared bathroom and a downstairs shower. Room prices are reduced for additional nights.
Warm welcome, comfortable room, good food and internet access*. Please note, however, that we are offering cheap B&B on Skye aimed mainly at backpackers and families on a budget, and if you are looking for luxury 5-star accommodation then we are definitely not the place for you!

Use of kitchen is available at a small additional charge of £3 per person according to the number in your party and the number of times you need to use it. For example, if you are a party of 3 using the kitchen for 2 nights, the charge will be £18. Ideal for preparing your evening meal. Certain basics such as cooking oil, salt, pepper, etc., are provided.
Laundry: a service wash-and-dry for your own clothes is available for £5 per load.
Rates for children: please let me know how many children you have with you, what their ages are, and what requirements you have (breakfast, packed lunches, use of kitchen etc) and I can work out a price for you. We are flexible and able to accommodate children though it may be on mattresses on the floor.
* Internet access is available at the house, via a cabled ethernet connection. The necessary cables are provided, and your computer most likely will have a cable connection port. All you have to do is attach the cable provided to your port, no password necessary, but check first that the router in the house is switched on. Internet access via the house PC is also available on a discretionary basis at a small cost.
